A Letter from the CEO – February 2021

Two months into 2021, the outlook for our market is very promising. More Americans are being vaccinated daily, a great next step towards a return to normalcy. According to projections made by PWC,  the Media & Entertainment (M&E) market is poised to return to pre-COVID-19 expectations this year and will continue to grow over the next 3 years.

The M&E market is in the midst of rapid changes brought on by the need for collaborative remote workflow. A need spurn from content creators working from home, and companies hiring skilled talents across the globe to produce content. Vendors, like EditShare, LucidLink Cloud Technology, Data Expedition Inc. are making these workflows a reality. Our own development team is also busy developing solutions to help our customers’ creative teams focus on what is important to them – create content to tell a story.

How often, as an editor or producer, do you receive transcripts and photos with valuable metadata that you wish you did not have to manually import in your asset management software? Our latest plugins, FotoSync and TranSync now automate these processes. For more information or a demo, please email us at info@AsaPro-line.com.

We are also thrilled to announce that as of January 21st, 2021, we officially opened a new sales office in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The office, located at 342 N Queen Street Rear, Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17603, will be managed by Stephen Stone. This new location will allow AsaPro to better serve our East Coast customers. Stephen is a Sales Engineer at AsaPro handling pre-sales, demos, and installations. A Letter from the CEO – January 2021

Welcome to 2021!

I want to thank all our customers, vendors, and our staff for making 2020 a successful year for AsaPro despite the unfortunate turns of events due to COVID-19. We start the new year optimistic that the new vaccine will enable businesses as well as people to return to their normal life.

As a company, AsaPro ended 2020 on a high note, although midway into last March we, like many other organizations were uncertain of what to expect. Fortunately, our company was already poised and ready to provide remote services because of several technology investments we made in prior years.

Our first initiative last April was to offer a 20% discount on all our services between April and July to offset the unexpected financial burden our customers were facing. We realigned our yearly travel and NAB budget towards online marketing. We also deployed a new ticketing system to track projects and services.

With the help of our new marketing team, the website was revamped for our customers to browse our products and to create service tickets online. December was a very busy month for AsaPro. We ended the year on a high note with a well-attended webinar with industry leaders from EditShare, The Boston Celtics, TeamWorks Media, and The Potter’s House of Dallas. They shared their experience dealing with COVID and their outlook for 2021. The CEO of EditShare, Conrad Clemson, explained his visions and gave the audience a sneak preview of Editshare EFS 2021.

The best part of 2020 yet was our first virtual holiday party. For about two hours, our customers, employees, sponsor (Editshare) and their loved ones joined us for a magical evening starting with wine and whiskey tastings and ending with a phenomenal magic show by Alan Hudson. The collective support of our customers, vendors, and staff made it a successful year for AsaPro; and I want to personally thank every single one of them.

As 2021 rolls in, we are energized and building on the successes of 2020. Stay tuned for our next big announcement regarding our new branch office. Be on the lookout for our next webinar and starting in March, we will introduce highlights from our customers and impactful people in our industry. Make sure you register to receive our newsletter!

Thank you,

Carl Lemaine
